So Which Is A Better KitchenAid Professional Mixer?

Which is better? KitchenAid Professiona mixer,  6-qt model or KitchenAid Professional mixer, 600 series 6 qt mixer? I’ve read that they are the same thing except that one has a 6 wire whisk and one has an 11 wire whisk.I am an aspiring baker and need a mixer to work through my text book.

Both prices for the kitchen aid’s are list at $499. I don’t think Cusinart could hold a towel with Kitchen Aid, A good thing about the more pricey ones is that they have metal gears and a more powerful motor.The 11 wire whisk will give more volume like with eggs. Thing always use lower speeds with mixing and kneading of breads.

5 Quart Mixer Or KitchenAid Professional Mixer

On Amazon.Com these two mixers caught my eye: the Professional 5 quart and the Artisan 5 quart. KitchenAid Professional mixer – 5 Plus 5 Quart Mixer *OR* KitchenAid Artisan 5-Quart Stand Mixer? Hi, I am considering buying a KitchenAid stand mixer.

Really the Artisan is usually more than adequate for most home kitchens. They are great mixers. The Pro has a slightly more powerful motor. I bought the Pro for my wife. The larger bowl,( which you can use on the Artisan) is useful for us. Also preferred the lift bowl over the tilt head. You can usually find the Artisan for less than what you said at home centers or Wal Mart and Target.

Is the Kitchenaid Ice Cream Freezer attachment any good? Is the mixer strong enough? I want to buy an ice cream maker/freezer. I have a KitchenAid mixer, but I wonder if the motor won’t get warm or worn out on the long freezing cycle? Anyone have any experience with this?

I just bought this attachment 6months ago and it is great! I have made ice cream, sorbet and even margarita ice (similar to gelato) my machine is put through the paces as I make pasta, grind meat and even use it to make dough. The Kitchenaid professional mixer is the best home mixer and my first lasted 20years – this is my second and I am sure it will last just as long.

What About KitchenAid Professional Mixer Parts

Where can I find a fiber washer AP3038074 for my Kitchenaid mixer? It is a Professional 600 style that the mixer (housing and all)keeps falling into the bowl.

I don’t have their number, but you should be able to get it from information or by a web search in the white pages. They carry parts for Kitchen Aid appliances.

Whichever you choose, the KitchenAid line is the top of the line, and the KitchenAid Professional Mixer is head and shoulders above the rest.  You’ll be happy in your kitchen for many, many years to come because you really cannot lose with a KitchenAid professional mixer
